Members manage their build at Account > PC build.

Adding a build​

  1. Visit Account > PC build.
  2. Fill in the component sections — CPU, GPU, motherboard, memory, storage, PSU, case, cooling, peripherals, and so on. The exact set of slots is fixed by the add-on; freeform component names go in the appropriate slot.
  3. Optionally paste a PC Part Picker saved-build URL when Enable PC Part Picker URL is on.
  4. Optionally upload photos. The number and size are capped by the AdminCP options.
  5. Click Save.

Photos​

  • The number of photos per build is capped by Maximum photos per build in the AdminCP options.
  • Each photo's file size is capped by Maximum photo file size, or the global attachment size limit when that option is 0.
  • The Upload photos to own PC build permission must be granted for the upload control to render.

When Enable PC build link in postbit is on at the global level, members get an extra preference letting them show or hide a small PC icon in their postbit that links to their build. Members who prefer not to advertise their build can leave it off.

Removing a build​

The editor includes a Delete build button. This removes the build row, all photo rows, and the photo files from disk. It does not affect any embedded [pcbuild] BB code in existing posts; those tags fall through to plain text.
