News items
Every parsed entry is stored as a news item. The full list lives at AdminCP > [MC] News Aggregator > News items.
States

Hiding an item
- Navigate to AdminCP > [MC] News Aggregator > News items.
- Find the item.
- Click Hide.
Hidden items are flagged but not deleted; they remain in the database for the Retention period for flagged items before they are pruned.
Showing a hidden item
Click Show on a hidden row to make it visible again. If a keyword filter still matches the item, the filtered flag stays and the item remains hidden until the filter is changed.
Pruning
The Prune news items cron runs every cycle and removes:
- Visible items older than Retention period.
- Hidden, filtered, and duplicate items older than Retention period for flagged items.
Manual deletion through this surface is permanent. There is no undo.
