What you'll see in the audit log
The audit log records the moderation and lifecycle actions that happen across the add-on. This page lists every kind of entry you may see, grouped by what the entry was performed against. Use it as a quick reference when filtering the log or following up on a row.
For the audit log itself, navigate to AdminCP > [MC] Downloads Manager > Audit log. See the audit log page for filters and search recipes.
Categories

| Thread settings auto-disabled | The forum a category was sending threads to was deleted. The category's discussion settings were turned off automatically. |
Comments

| Comment approved | A moderator approved a comment from the queue. |
| Comment posted | A user posted a comment that was visible immediately. |
| Comment posted (queued) | A user posted a comment that went to the moderation queue. |
| Comment soft-deleted | A user or moderator soft-deleted the comment. |
| Comment edited | The comment was edited. |
| Comment hard-deleted | The comment was permanently removed. |
| Comment restored | A soft-deleted comment was undeleted. |
| Comment unapproved | A moderator returned a previously visible comment to the queue. |
Criteria gates

| Download moved | The download was moved to a different category. |
| Password set | A protective password was added to the download. |
| Password changed | The download's password was replaced. |
| Password cleared | The download's password was removed. |
| Prefix changed | The download's prefix was changed. |
| Download published | The download was published from draft state for the first time. |
| Author reassigned | The download's primary author was changed. |
| Download restored | A soft-deleted download was restored. |
| Scheduled publish | The cron published a previously scheduled download at its release time. |
| Download soft-deleted | The download was moved into the soft-delete window. |
| Co-owner added | A user was added as a co-owner to the team. |
| Co-owner left | A co-owner removed themselves from the team. |
| Co-owner removed | A co-owner was removed from the team by someone else. |
| Co-owner permissions changed | A co-owner's flags were changed. |
| Linked to thread | The download was attached to an existing forum thread. |
| Linked thread changed | The thread linked to the download was changed. |
| Discussion thread created | An auto-thread was created on publish. |
| Thread disconnected | The thread link was removed (or the thread was deleted). |
| Thread title synced | The thread title was pushed to match the download's title. |
| Download unapproved | The download was returned to the moderation queue. |
| Download updated | The download was edited. The detail entry shows which fields changed. |
Files

Share tokens
