All permissions
Every permission registered by the add-on, grouped by where it appears in AdminCP > Groups & permissions > Permissions. Use this page as a flat lookup; the permissions admin page explains how the groups fit together and how to grant them.
Downloads (user permissions)
| Permission | Behavior |
|---|---|
| View downloads | See categories and the downloads inside them. Required for everything else. |
| Download files | Initiate a download. The download still has to pass any active gates. |
| View previews | Open in-browser previews (text, image, audio, video, PDF, archive). |
| View moderated downloads | See downloads that are awaiting approval. |
| View own analytics | See download counts and traffic for downloads you own. |
| Create downloads | Upload new downloads in this category. |
| Edit own downloads | Edit your own downloads. |
| Delete own downloads | Soft-delete your own downloads. |
| Permanently delete own | Hard-delete your own downloads, bypassing the soft-delete window. |
| Edit cover image | Upload a cover image for downloads you own. |
| Tag own downloads | Apply tags to your own downloads. |
| Manage dependencies | Add and remove dependency links between downloads. |
| Manage team | Add or remove co-owners on downloads you own. The category must allow teams. |
| Set password | Set a per-download password. |
| Issue share tokens | Generate share tokens to distribute the download out-of-band. |
| Upload from external URL | Submit external URLs as the source of a file. |
| Bandwidth cap (KB/s) | Per-group download speed cap. The highest non-zero permission across the user's groups wins. |
| Bypass approval | Skip the moderation queue when creating or editing downloads. |
| Bypass rate limit | Skip the per-hour download rate limit. |
| Bypass hotlink protection | Skip the hotlink gate. |
Downloads (moderator permissions)

| Manage any team | Edit team membership on any download. |
| Manage discussion | Lock, unlock, sticky, or move auto-created threads. |
| Move | Move downloads between categories. |
| Reassign | Change the primary author of a download. |
| Set any password | Set a password on any download. |
| Feature | Mark a download as featured. |
| Bypass criteria gate | Skip criteria gate evaluation on any category. |
Comments (user permissions)

| Edit own comment time limit | Number of minutes after posting that "Edit own comment" applies. 0 means no limit. |
